The Coordination Advisory PLLC is a boutique firm that is owned and operated by Kelly Smith Brown, Esq. Kelly is a licensed attorney, trained mediator and parent coordinator. Kelly exclusively specializes in alternative dispute resolution coordination efforts and works directly with her clients by email, phone, and Zoom. Kelly is a seasoned trial and appellate attorney with over a decade of experience handling some of the most contentious and complex legal matters at the local, state, and federal levels, and within the criminal justice system. She spent over ten years serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan, a Federal Prosecutor in Washington, D.C., and as an Assistant Attorney General in New York. Likewise, Kelly has a unique understanding of the benefits, but, more often, the shortcomings and complications that come with drawn-out and continued litigation. She also has a breadth of experience working with high net-worth individuals and a long-time interest and passion for all aspects of matrimonial and family law. As a result, she is committed to working alongside her clients to reach consensus, out of court, and establish balance within the confines of their new normal, during or after any form of familial dissolution.
Kelly is licensed to practice in New York and is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. She lives in Bronxville, New York, with her husband, two young children, and their French Bulldog. Kelly also serves as an active member on the Komansky Family Advisory Council at the NewYork-Presbyterian Phyllis and David Komansky Children’s Hospital at Weill Cornell Medical Center.
